Christmas Morning

Tyler's Favorite Present (PS3)

This photo tells you he was up way to early!

Christmas came about 5:30a.m. for the Wadsworth household, we were all half asleep. But we all were excited to find out what we got. Tyler received almost everything he wanted with a few surprises here and there. He got a Playstation 3 (which was the hit of the morning), ipod touch, a new nintendo ds, and more toys than I can write or remember. He loves everything so much, the PS3 was a surprise, he had no clue he was getting that. The look on your child's face Christmas morning is priceless. I got a Coach purse and a new camera (my old one was big, clunky, and heavy). So I was very happy, not to mention the things I received a few weeks before that I said "this can be my Christmas." Don got lots of things clothes, shoes, books, cd's, movies and more. We were very blessed this Christmas, now it's time to put the tree away, take the lights off the roof, and find room for all these new things. Only a few more days till 2009, I guess we will have to watch the ball drop!

Christmas at the Jackson's

Nanny and all the grands and great grands

Sarah, Me, and Jenny (Sisters!!)

We had a great time Sunday night, we got together with my parents, my Uncle Gary, Aunt Susan, Nanny, and Nikki and her family. We had lots of great food, I brought lots of sweets. Most likely more than needed, but once I start dipping stuff in chocolate I can't stop. My sister brought her friend Alex and it was nice getting to know him. He seems like a really cool person. My relationships with my sisters are growing more everyday. I guess since there is alot of years between us, it takes time for everyone to grow up a little. Jenny is the closest to me in age, only 8 years. Which is alot, but at this point in her life I am able to help guide and direct her thru decisions like college, careers, and men. She doesn't always take my advice, but who does? I am super proud of the woman she is becoming, she has such a good heart. Sarah is learning to listen to us a little, but she is 14; who ever listens at 14? But we love her, she is so unique and is just confident in herself. She doesn't go with the flow, she makes her own way. Sometimes that freaks my parents out, but oh well. We all played Dirty Santa, we had alliances just in case we needed them to get the gifts we really wanted. Tyler on the other hand was hilarious! He stole a Wii game from Tanner and hid it behind his back. Anytime someone came near him he looked as if he was going to vomit. People loved messing with him and acting like they were going to steal it. I knew if it was stolen, I was going to have to go to Walmart; I couldn't let my baby be really dissappointed. But it all worked out and he kept the game! We had lots of fun and now are counting the days down to Christmas. If I don't blog before then "Merry Christmas" to everyone! And I almost forgot, think about this verse on Christmas day; I read it this morning and hung it up in my kitchen. Simeon saw the baby Jesus and said / Luke 2:30 "For mine eyes have seen thy salvation!" Please don't forget what Christmas is all about!

Tyler's 10th Birthday

The Pirate Cake (too bad the ship didn't make it)

The candles are growing.

My baby is now 10! Can I even say baby anymore, I guess not. He had a great spend the night party. He had 6 friends spend the night. They had a ball, they played nerf guns the entire time. He had a pirate theme with a pirate for a cake. It turned out good, wish I could say the same for the pirate ship that fell apart before I could finish it. I should have listened to the reviews saying it would fall apart, but I thought I could make it work. The guest all received pirate bandanas and glow in the dark swords (lesson i'll never forget). He got lots of great gifts, but his favorite was the Alabama football, signed by 25 players. His grandmamma sure made him happy! He said after the party "I don't know how i'll ever repay her". We all received very little sleep that night, but it was worth the fun!

Trick or Treat

We went to Tannehill to Trick or Treat the weekend before Halloween. We met my Aunt Susan, Uncle Gary, Nikki, Katelyn and Rikki there, they were camping. This was Tyler's first time to do this event. I believe it was a little much for him. Some young boys scared him before trick or treating ever started and he was ready to go! He said "I want to go, I like trick or treating in Greentree (our old neighborhood) better." He did pull his sword out when the boy approached him from behind since he was Jack Sparrow; it was the funniest thing i've seen in awhile. So needless to say our trip was short and sweet.
