Where did the time go?

It has been forever since I have had time to breathe, much less post. Life is good and God is great! The Wadsworths have turned their little world upside down with lots of changes over the past few months. We have been in prayer for a few years regarding some of these changes and finally felt at peace with the decisions! Tyler started a new school in August, American Christian Academy in Tuscaloosa. He absolutely loves it!! I could have never dreamed he would enjoy it so much, learn so much and be involved in so much!! It was a scary decision to make, just being unsure if he would transition well and if he would like it. But, we stepped out on faith of what we felt like God was leading us to do and it paid off big time! I've never had a child who wanted to go to school and it is very exciting as a parent to see your child excited about school! The funny part is that we almost didn't go inside the school on the day we were checking out new schools. We just weren't sure if it would be for us; but, we thought well, why not just go in and look. Then once again, God showed up and showed out and we all left stunned and amazed with the way we felt! I am just so amazed as to how well it is going! And then came Pineview Preschool, the best place i've ever been! Wow, words can't describe how great things are going and how fast we are growing and how much I Love My Job!!! Our church stepped out on faith and alot of hard work and God blessed big time in return! This ministry is a huge outreach for our church and lives are already being changed for eternity! My mind can't understand all the ways God has moved in this ministry already! We have the best students and parents anyone could ever ask for! And I also must say that I have a great husband who has picked up alot more (or all) responsibilty at our business in order for me to be able to do this. But, he understands that when God calls you to do something; you have to do it! Or, you could end up like Jonah; and right now there is no time to be stuck in the belly of a whale!! I have enjoyed directing more than I orginally thought; I thought I would miss teaching. Now, I get to know all the kids in every class and that's just more kids to love!! I guess that's all I got for now, but I'm sure there is more to come!!

CCA Baseball

This year Don is coaching high school baseball at Cahawba Christian and Tyler's minor league SBDY team. We haven't had a team at CCA in about 5 or 6 years, so we are really excited. It has been hard starting up this sport and getting the field ready. But, it has been worth it already. Tyler is the official batboy! And the best I might add. He really likes being in the dugout with the big boys. He totaly thinks he is one of them now. So, most of our life is spent at a ballfield somewhere! But we wouldn't want it any other way. I continue to pray that God will bless the school and give us more oportunities to reach children! Go Chargers!!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

Everyone at my house loved waking up to a snow covered yard! It was falling so hard and so fast. Don had woke Tyler and myself up, telling us to go see the snow; he wasn't sure if it would last long. So, Tyler and Don bundled up and I headed out with robe, slippers and camera in hand. You could tell I didn't plan on sliding in it like the boys! I was just there to take pictures and drink coffee. Bella (our yorkie), loved the snow. It doesn't seem like she did when you see the picture of snowballs stuck to her feet. But I promise, as soon as I would wash her with warm water and get them off, she would go to the front door and cry to go right back out! So, that went on three or four times, wash, cry, go back, wash, cry, go back; until finally I had washed more than I cared to and made her stay in. Don and Tyler had homemade sleds (boogie boards) and slid down the hills several times. Tyler kept falling off and getting mad about falling off but he finally got the hang of it. He also made two snowmen and a snow angel. I wouldn't let anyone on the back deck so I could tell how much snow had fell at the end, and in the end it was 3". We had lots of fun and are now ready for Spring!

Here comes baseball!

This season is starting really soon. I think this family eats, sleeps and breathes baseball. Tyler has been back at Bases Loaded in Alabaster with his trainers since January preparing for this season. He loves it up there! They are just really talented trainers, but I guess you would have to be if you played MLB for the Yankees! Tyler is trying his best to get us to let him play fall ball up there, we shall see, but it is travel ball and would take alot of time. Don is coaching again this year, we are hoping for the best season yet! We haven't ever been the best or the worst, but, we are just ready to be great for once. The draft is tonight, so, we shall see. We have been really busy, but it is all worth it! We just try to give him all the tools he needs to succeed, and he has to put the work into it to make it pay off.

This is my fourth picture, Tyler and Bella in August right after we got her.
She was my 10 year anniversary gift from Don.

So- now 4 people will go to their 4th folder and pick out their 4th picture and post it.
Megan Sonnier, Allison Cottingham, Bonnie Pearson and Amy Quimby are my four people.

Sinus Infection Go Away!

This has been a busy, sick start to 2009. I have been fighting a sinus infection for over 1 month now. I'm taking 5 different meds now, and we are fighting it really hard this time. Please pray this works, or it's off to the ENT for me. Work has started off really busy, not fair really after a two week break. I welcomed one new student yesterday, then today I am receiving four more new students and an aide. I am so excited to be able to teach these children, but just a little nervous of how they will adjust to my kids. Hopefully everything will go great! I have not slept in forever, these meds are really affecting me in all kinds of ways. So, I feel kinda out of it. I'll never notice I have 19 kids until I get some sleep i'm sure.
